Julie Cramer judged the ABdFC Carting Trial at the National Specialty several times in the past. She enjoys watching these wonderful dogs doing something that they are distinctly qualified for.
Julie’s love of carting began with driving horses. She owns three Norwegian Fjord horses who are lots of fun in harness. As she and her husband, Bob, expanded their dog training business, they discovered dog carting and jumped in with both feet, teaching their collies and bouviers to pull carts. They have hosted carting events at Green Grove K9 Center in Wisconsin, taught canine carting classes, walked with dogs in parades, and offered carting clinics and workshops.
They have taught carting skills to a wide variety of breeds from Papillons to Great Danes. In their own household, they have three carting
Bouviers, two Collies, a German Shepherd and even a Border Terrier who all pull carts. Carting is an activity that Bob and Julie enjoy together and this year, Bob will once again serve at a steward while Julie judges.
