Awards

Know a Bouvier Hero? Each year the ABdFC presents a special Hero Dog award during the National Specialty Awards Banquet. Do you know of a deserving Bouvier? We all know Bouviers preform everyday miracles and we all love to hear about the wonderful things they do. Please submit a nomination for that deserving Hero Bouvier.

Dog Hero of the Year Nominations are made to the current Specialty Show Chairman. The winner is selected by the Show Chairman or the Show Committee and announced at the annual Awards Banquet. The winner is awarded a commemrative Bouvier plaque.

Submit Your Nomination

Nominations should include a short description of why the dog deserves the award. Be sure to include in your submission your contact information.

The American Bouvier Rescue League (ABRL) offers this award annually to a deserving veterinarian. Members can nominate any veterinarian they feel is deserving of this award. The winner is selected by a panel of 3 judges and announced at the annual Awards Banquet. The winner is awarded a commemrative Bouvier plaque.

Submit Your Nomination

Nominations should include a short description of why the nominee deserves the award. Be sure to include in your submission your contact information and the $5 nominating fee (Donation to ABRL).

The Versatile Bouvier Award was designed by the ABdFC to help maintain breed characteristics. These titles are not restricted to heritage… we do very little droving of cattle down farm roads. Therefore, these titles also represent what dogs can do in modern times to benefit mankind. The focus of these titles is encouragement for owners to train and enjoy their Bouviers in a variety of ways. If you feel your Bouvier is worthy of a beautiful medallion to commemorate his skills, then follow the link below to see how to apply.
