BHF: DNA Blood Draw & Cheek Swab

Improving the health of our beloved breed in the future is the responsibility of every Bouvier owner. You can help Bouvier Health Foundation (BHF) improve the health of Bouviers by submitting your dog's DNA to the Canine Health Information Center (CHIC) DNA Repository.

Wednesday (Oct 29): 10:00 am to 2:00pm
Thursday (Oct 30): 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Location: We will be set up as close to the ring as possible.

All that is necessary is a few minutes of your time to complete one form, and have a very small sample of your Bouvier's blood submitted. Blood will be drawn by licensed veterinary techs. More information about the CHIC DNA Repository is available at

Cost: It's $free$. BHF is underwriting the cost for blood draw and submission to the CHIC.

You will also be able to have the AKC DNA Profile done on your dog via cheek swab.

Cost: The reduced Specialty price will be $40.
